A service to allow people to use their Amazon wishlist as a generic way to collect the books they’re interested in reading. The service would then periodically check the person’s wishlist and see if any were available at their local library, and email them to let them know.

It would also aggregate the items on the lists and provide that information on the “in demand books” to the libraries, to help guide their purchasing.

At the first codeforliverpool hackday, we made a start on building the service.
