Project with Tinker.it to complete a number of interactive exhibits for Volkswagen to take to trade shows and events round the country.

The work had been started by another company and we inherited it part-finished with no documentation or handover. We reverse-engineered the work from the half-complete circuitry and replaced the controller with new one running newly developed code.

The finished exhibits demonstrated a number of concepts for VW’s latest models, including a cascade of water-droplets which could be “frozen” or made to (appear to) run backwards by careful balancing of the accelerator pedal in the mock driver’s seat (pictured).
